Peter Hwang, CEO and Managing Director
Peter is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of success in multiple sectors and disciplines. He has been a C-Level executive within public and private sectors for more than 20 years with vast corporate governance and capital markets expertise having extensive experience building startups, working from inception to liquidity. Peter has led four of his own companies to successful exits. Some of the companies he has been a founding partner of include: publicly traded Licensed Producer Newstrike Brands (TSX:HIP.V - now Hexo Corp.), donor acquisition and analytics provider Globalfaces Direct, asset-based financing firm Easylease Corp., energy solutions and retrofit provider EnWise Holdings, and RDHR Holdings, parent company to hospitality franchisor Extreme Pita.
Jay Wilgar, President and Managing Director
Jay has led multiple successful enterprises over the course of the past 20 years, often times in highly regulated and intensely competitive environments. His initial entrepreneurial venture was the development of Canada’s first large scale renewable energy project with AIM PowerGen. Later, Jay co-founded publicly traded Licensed Producer Newstrike Brands (TSX:HIP.V - now Hexo Corp), leading it to a sale valued at approximately $350 Million. Throughout his career he has successfully raised hundreds of millions of dollars through the capital markets and executed nearly half a billion dollars in M&A transactions as the sell-side.
