Rather than investing small to moderate amounts of capital to acquire small interests in dozens of different companies, Nicoya intends to take larger positions in fewer companies and provide the necessary guidance to navigate the complexities inherent in taking an idea from conceptualization through commercialization

Nicoya will not make any passive investments into companies, that is not the purpose of this model

It is an operator focused approach that provides entrepreneurs the roadmap to setting their companies up for optionality on liquidity, whether achieved through an IPO, CPC, RTO, private equity sale or otherwise

By taking a more hands on approach with respect to bringing additional companies into the Nicoya portfolio, we’re able to bring enhanced value that would otherwise not be possible, ensuring consistent execution across all aspects of the business

Nicoya’s involvement within a portfolio company is facilitated through the appointment of an executive-director or senior advisor

Compensation in exchange for recurring advisory services is tailored to be flexible to the companies existing circumstances, whether through cash, common shares, options and warrants, or a combination of any thereof
